#Getting started

Oxinator is a browser-based tool for building 2D games, mostly slot-style and casual games, from your own art. You build scenes in the editor, publish them, and share a link that plays anywhere.

Open the dashboard at dashboard.oxinator.com and sign in. New accounts start on the Founder trial; see Plans and billing for the limits.

#Create a project

  1. Go to Projects and choose New project.
  2. Give it a name, pick Blank or a template, and choose the targets (desktop, mobile) and orientations (landscape, portrait) with their design sizes.
  3. Choose Create. The project opens in its page, with a button to open the editor.

#Add your art

Upload images, Spine animations, bitmap fonts, spritesheets, video and audio in the Asset library. Each asset gets an alias that scenes refer to. See Assets.

#Build a scene

Open the editor from the project. Add text and groups, select objects on the stage to move them, and change their properties on the right. Your changes save automatically. See Editor.

#Publish

In the editor, open Publish ▾:

  • Publish to stage builds the game and gives you a private link for testing.
  • Publish to prod puts your latest changes on your public address.

See Publishing for stage, prod and rollback.
